Navarre Beach was previously known as "Florida's Best Kept Secret" before millions of TripAdvisor users rated us #12 of the top 25 U.S Beaches to visit. Since our secret got out, we had to change our slogan but we are still "Florida's Most Relaxing Place" and home to Florida's longest fishing pier along with so many other great opportunities to create memories that will last a lifetime! Right here on the Navarre Beach, within minutes of our vacation rentals, there are plenty of activities to keep the entire family entertained. On the West end of the island, you’ll find the scenic national seashore. Rent a scooter from Sage Scooter Co (850-972-1234) and take a gorgeous sunset cruise down the scenic seashore with the wind blowing through your hair! If you prefer to stay at your vacation rental, why not have a paddleboard or kayak delivered right to the beach behind your unit by Sage (850-396-3044) who started Sage Paddle Co. when she was just 12 years old! On the East end of the island, you’ll find great opportunities for diving and snorkeling with lots of marine life to see and learn about on one of 3 artificial reefs at the Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary. Destin is just a short drive away and offers even more fun such as Big Kahunas Water Park, Crab Island, and the Destin Harbor Boardwalk.
Interested in turning your family vacation into an educational journey? Spend an afternoon learning about the marine life and our beach ecosystems here on Navarre Beach at the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station located right here on the East end of the island. For further educational fun, take the little ones, and the young at heart, to visit the Gulf Breeze Zoo where you’ll have opportunities to feed giraffes, sloths, and budgies! Once the kiddos are hooked on the fun, keep the learning going with a daytrip to the Emerald Coast Science Center in Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island where you’ll be able to get close and personal with more marine life at The Gulfarium, or go a little further to learn about the history of the “luckiest fishing village in the world” at the Destin History and Fishing Museum in Destin!

Not only will you be guided to fishing hotspots for catching local favorites such as Snapper, Grouper, Mullet, & Amberjack depending on the season, but you will also be treated to incredible Gulf views and could even run into other wildlife such as Sea Turtles and Dolphins during your excursion! Is fishing not really your jam? Let Scooters Fish House or Dewey Destins on the mainland take care of your fresh caught meal for you, we assure you they know what they’re doing!
Speaking of eating…if you’re a foodie, Navarre has you covered! Get your day started by fueling up with the best breakfast around! Head to Alphy's on the mainland and ask for the cinnamon roll pancakes or try JJ Chagos Brisket Breakfast with one of their delicious specialty coffee creations! Later in the day, grab lunch or dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants right here on Navarre Beach. For casual bites, cold drinks, great views and a fun atmosphere check out The Sailor's Grill connected to Juana’s Pagodas overlooking the Santa Rosa Sound or Windjammers on the Pier with gorgeous Gulf beach views! For a more upscale dining experience, have dinner and a glass of wine outside on the patio at the Beach House Bar & Grille or drive a short distance to The Grand Marlin in Pensacola; We promise the drive is worth it! For a truly unique dining experience, book a personal chef to come to your vacation rental and prepare a private dinner for you and your group. After a delicious meal, grab a sweet treat at Tommy's Sno-Balls or The Twist Ice Cream Shop, both being Navarre staples!
In addition to the mouthwatering food options, fun activities, and spectacular white sugar sand beaches within just minutes of our Navarre Beach vacation rentals, if you’re willing to drive just a little further you will find many other incredible outdoor areas to explore, including Blackwater River State Park in Milton, Ponce De Leon Springs in Ponce De Leon, and Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach. These areas offer spectacular scenery, nature trails, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, zip lining, bird watching, and many more opportunities for adventure all within about an hour from our rentals on Navarre Beach.
After so much adventure and excitement, some laid back options may be appealing to help you relax and unwind, after all that is what we are known for these days! If you’re in the mood for a good treasure hunt, spend a weekend afternoon at Pik-Itz Outdoor Market or one of the many antique shops around. You might be amazed by what you’ll find! Perhaps a round of golf is more your style? The Club at Hidden Creek located right here in Navarre is an 18-Hole Championship Public Golf Course designed by Ron Garl. There are also many other golf courses just a short drive away in Destin and Miramar Beach. At the end of a long day, rejuvenate your mind, body and soul during a yoga class with Willow or Cara at Elementree Yoga, or have a drink while you float on the lazy river with a day pass to the facilities at Springhill Suites Marriot before turning in at your private vacation rental for a good nights sleep.
